do you feel pressurised to get married soon by your parents?
Very often they do not realise it but when they tell you they want
you to accept, you want to please them. Is that submitting to pressure?

Hi Rajni9, i did get a pressure from my parents. I think this is mainly on the different mindset between different generations. During their time, it is considered too old when you get marry at 25 years old. But this is very normal in current generation, right? Last time i used to entertain them by i need to get a house then only think about getting marry :p

I understand what you mean by this but please remember parents know exactly when it is a time for us to get married and if they ask you for that please dont think that they are put pressure on you, instead let them know why you want to wait for some more days , months or years. As far as I concerned once the parents asks us about the marriage it is better if you can go ahead and get married that depends to whom you are interested you can get married, but I feel that will bethe right time if you delay later you have to suffer!

No, my parents actually tried to talk me out of it when I was 18 saying I was too young. I wish I would have listened because I was divorced 5 years later.
