Not again this was my first exclamation when i formatted and recovered my windows operating system from its previous error.
We all know it is july 2008 and why the hell is my system showing july 2002. Also i changed the date and year while loading Windows operating system. I formatted it more than five times and corrected it still i have this error. My softwares are not working and i am having security problem.
Please help me out here or give me links where i can find out more help.

It is not a cmos battery problem. I have an absolute new battery.

I more think i forget to mention about the time, you said your system is showing july 2002. Dont worry about it, i hope you are using windows XP. for all the systems who are running on windows XP, if there is any problem with the system time it will show windows release year on your system time.

I can understand your problem. usually the system time runs on the small battery that is in you motherboard. when you turn off your system then the battery that is present in the board runs your time, if there is any problem with your battery then the system time changes when turn off and turn on your pc. So turnoff your pc and remove the battery and replace it, if you still face the same problem then buy a new battery. Once you replace with new battery you have to set the system time once after that, time will run on its own. have a nice day and have fun with your pc.

Your date and time settings are not correct, it can be your CMOS Battery problem.
Your softwares are not working, it can be your OS problem.
Your security system is bad, you still have to Format all the Drives in your Computer.
By the way, which OS have you installed ?
