Do you think the end of the world is near?

it has always been there, there have always been natural disasters, crime, famine, wars, and the world is still here intact, no one really knows when it is gonna happen so why worry about it, you cant even predict when your life is gonna end and youre not worrying about it, when you go to sleep at night the thought that your not gonna see tomorow doesnt even enter your mind, theres alot of things that can happen while youre asleep yet you still can fall sound asleep, if it will end it will end

yes I of believe that the end of the world id near. We just don;t know the specific date as what other people are telling. No one knows the exact time of the world's ending except GOD HIMSELF. We can feel it because of the things that are happening in the world today. This is a warning for us to prepare for that time.

Yes, I do believe the end is near. With the answers I see here from this very question indicates to me that yes, something is going to give and the end is near. How can we explain a tsunami? have we EVER seen one before 2004? what about 9/11? other than Pearl Harbor, the US never been invaded except from the British and we still sent em packing. And the Anti Christ, I believe he is in existence right now. or to be in it soon. Check out the books of Daniel and Revelation for yourself. Particularly Revelation.

Yes, I do. Even if it is an 100 years or more, that is still a short time for God. But, I would be surprised if it was that long. Yes, I do believe that the Anti Christ is being set up. When I was a young teen I was a bad drunk. I was sent to rehab at the age of 18. (I was raise in a Christian home, so I knew of God and the Anti Christ.) When my mind was clear I was talking to a girl about God and Jesus coming back. She told me that Jesus was coming back, but he was going to wear a blue coat. I thought the girl was nuts. Now 20 years later I watched the Left Behind movies and what she said to me came back. She was talking of the Anti Christ. Reading Revelations and watching that movie, I feel we are real close. But I don't worry about it. I feel if your heart is right with God, then why worry. I don't understand much about Revelations, but I believe (Yes, I could be wrong) but I believe that the rapture will take place before the tribulation.

Evil is nothing new in this world. I don't believe that the end of the world is near for one simple reason: there are too many millons of people who never got the opportunity to learn of God. Matthew 24:14 says that the Gospel must be preached as a testimony amongst all peoples, and thanks to Christian indifference regarding to missions, that is very far away!

Infact we are approaching to the end.There was a great astrologist in INDIA who omen around 3000 strange things which occurs in future. Up to now 2000 of those are realised and he said that exactly in vch period the world ends

Yes I do have to agree that there is alot of evil going on in the world and storms that are 10X as bad then what they used to be back when. I try to take one day at a time and enjoy the life god has given me and liv it to the fullest and know he will protect me and all that ask for protection and guidence. I know the end of the world is near for all the signs of it are amongst us everyday and giveing us afir warning. I just look at it that god will come back for us when he is ready and I will trust him for his and try and not to worry but let him worry about the end times and how it's going to go with all of us.

World will not end this much early. It will take some more years as there are so many good people left in this world. God does not want to trap good people perhaps, I am not sure. But when world is full with bad people like the ones who spammed the discussion of one of our friend 'everlasting', God will decide to end this world.

Many people believe that time is fast running out of this world, They speak of our time as being the "the last days." But did you realize that the Bible tells us how we can survive the end of the present world and live on an earth that will be made a paradise? The Bible will give us the full information and to live in harmony with the things we learn.

I think that it will be sooner rather than later. Not sure where and the exact quote but the Bible say that everyone will have the chance to hear God's word. Not too many places that people haven't been these days. On another note, I think America is becoming a modern day Sodom and Gomora

I don't know what makes you think so, but if you believe in the greatest astrologer ever i.e. Nastro domes, then World War III will be around 2012, when most of the world will get destroyed, but the whole world will not. Even, the population growth and global climatic changes in future years will worsen the living conditions, signs are- melting of ice caps,forming of ozone holes, decreasing of availabilty of drinking water. This all factors will surely bring a full stop to the world, but the end of the world is not near certainly...

i personally dont think the world is coming to an end yet maybe in a cuple of thousands of year s but not now.

it's a very good topic but can you tell me whey you are concerning with this matter i'm sure that the world has an end but also i know very well that most of us his end will be sooner than th end of life don't think because we can't do somthing in this matter but we can pray for god to forgive us by the way what do you mean by anti christ if you mean non christian i wanna tell you that i'm a muslim but not anti christ i beleive in him because he is one of god's prophet i know that every one in the world has his concepts and belives and god only knows who will be forgiven and who will not be forgiven

I don't believe in an anti-christ as such. I just think that once we have used up this earth, (which we are doing a good job of in the past 50 years or so) it will just end up killing us all off, either through cancer or some other type of illness. Once we are all gone the earth can then replenish itself. It's all just a cycle. I am not sure how soon this will happen.. could be 50 years, could be hundreds of years.

those weatherthings :-) that's human faults , warm up the earth more and there will be more incredible weather phenomenes , but if that means there is smth supernatural mixing .... yours trully chrisone
