Pictures taken with the D80

Night Scene of the Buckingham Palace - It sure looks different when the lights are on during the night!
We were really taken back by the majestic of the scene at night!
Simply beautiful!

I only browsed through a few but I must say the camera turns out really sharp pictures! you look like you are really enjoying the camera, and your honeymoon! personally I'm just so glad for digital technology cos it enables us to take unlimited photos (limited only by the size of your storage card I suppose). Hope you brought something to easily store the photos. some people bring hard disk drives to download all their photos. I also got a new point and shoot recently. the canon 860. am enjoying it lots too!

An artistic shot I tried at Paris - Trying to capture a artistic angle. But it seems I could not capture the clarity I intended. No matter. I will improve!
ha ha ha ha ha... I actually did get an external storage for my pictures. Overall, the trip, I took more than 6000 photos. Which worked out to almost 50 GB of space!!! And it is a good thing I did bring the external storage. Else I would not be able to shoot the way I did! Yeah... I enjoyed my trip a lot! The only thing I could not master are the night shots. Not very good in my opinion. I am sure I can do better. Next time.

Sun Rise In Germany - Taken from the hotel room during the earlier part of the trip.
You are most welcome. Taking night shots seems to be my archillies heel! (Hope I spelled that right! 8p) The steadiness of the camera matters a lot too! I am also trying to train myself to be more steady. But to take night shots without flash and a stand, it is TOUGH! Setting the settings at higher ISOs for faster shutter will result is a lot of noise in the pictures. Difficult ah. Still learning to strike a balance between the two!

Shareapic is a good site to make a few bucks from sharing photos with friends. I gave a hand at DeviantArt as well, but never sold any prints. Eventually I moved to SmugMug, and I'm THRILLED with how it's worked out so far.

Picture of the Trevi in Italy - Really beautiful fountain. Especially when viewed at night!
SmugMug eh? I will take a look to see if it will work out for me or not. If there are referral, I am willing to join under someone here. As long as the site is good, no harm giving it a chance.

First of all, I'm really jealous you have a D80! My camera isn't very good and I'm desperate for a new one, hehe! Secondly, wow those pictures are great, so beautiful :) you are really talented, and I've never used shareapic before, I normally host all my photographs on deviantart! I love taking pictures and looking through them and remembering all the memories :)

A day view of the Big Ben! - Taken on the bridge. I was trying to be greedy here. Trying to squeeze in the Big Ben and the Buckingham palace together into one shot! heh heh...
Thanks for the compliments. I just started to learn to use the DSLR. It was a wonderful experience for me. And a really good learning one too. Took a lot of pictures during my recent trips. That was where I started to find out more bout my camera than anytime else since I got the camera last year!
