What do you think makes for a good friend?

I think that some areas of this world is crowded but not every where is so crowded but I think our lives are crowded by the many things we all seem to want to do each day. Some of us are better at time management than others, it would be good if we could take time to really think about what is important in this life but we don't usually do that, instead we stay busy with everything we think is important, while we neglect our friends who may really be needing us at times but just don't call because they know we are busy, we are too busy for our own good these days,. I agree I have found out very easily who my true friends are and who are only there when I can do something to benifit them, I have many aquaintances that I may call friends but really they are only people I know, A true friend will stand by you whether you have money or whether you don't. also a true friend will lend a helping hand when you get in a mess or behind in your household chores instead of gossipping all over town about what a messy house you may have. A true friend is someone who will help you when your in a mess, and is also someone you can help when you find they are in a mess.

I agree trust is something that is very important, I also think our friends should know they can trust us, and that we will be there for them. A friend is someone you can call at any time and they will not be mad. even if it's in the middle of the night, (but I would not do that unless I really really had an emergency)
