a friend is someone who's there with you, listening to your woes, cheering u up but then somehow, she could be gone anytime. A best friend is a friend who will be with you forever, listening to your woes, helping you solve your problems, crying with you, makes you smile everyday, and no matter how far distance separates both of you, her presence still makes you go on with your life. A best friend is like your sister that no matter what happens, she's still part of your life. And no 1 can take her away for you.

For people best friends can be different, since we set our own standards for relationships. personally for me a best friend is the one to whom i can come home at any time, not thinking that it might be the wrong time and i was not welcomed. it's also a person that, knowing my weaknesses, will never try to use them in front of other people for his/her own benefit. best friend will be sincerely happy for my achievements, and encourage me when i am down.

A best friend is whom you can share all your secrets, joy and sorrows and with you confide in. You cannot confide with each of your friend. You select a person, amongst your friends, whom you could trust and put your faith on him/her.

bharatsignal, in life you come across, friends, aquaintances and best friends. To me, best friends are for life, the people that are always there, through the good times and the bad. A best friend is someone you trust with your deepest secret, someone who will never judge you, someone who will always listen and be there for you, someone who will support you, and vice versa. You often share the same beliefs and have similar interests. I think there is a special closeness you feel with a 'best friend' and it is something that is really hard to describe, it is more a feeling, something that can't really be put into words, or at least is hard to put into words.
