This year has definitely gone by quickly! I can't believe it's more than half over. But you know what they say, if this year goes quickly, next year will go slowly.

I'm not sure what news you were watching or what Christmas they were talking about but it will be 2 months before we are down to the 100 days til Christmas countdown. I knew it didn't sound right so I counted it up and came up with 162 days from now until December 25.

No worries! I love Christmas and I'd love to cut about two months out of the yea...I don't care for summer weather at all so August could go lol I have to keep July though because my birthday is next week.

Oh I never realized that its fast approaching already. Christmas is a time to relax for me. Although saving for the Xmas rush is quite far from me maybe September would be the time as of now I have plenty of things to put my money to. There is just no space for saving for Chrismas gifts.

Hi Neilchua.
What calendar werethey looking at?
December is still five months away with the average of 30 days per month. I think it would be closer to 150 days til Christmas than only 100.

I don't know but somehow I find myself not so happy about this. I know this celebration means a lot to most people but almost half of them don't really know its meaning.
Anyway, I think I better think of something that can make me happy other than gifts .. money is not an option nowadays due to economic crisis.

Now this explains it. Some people came into work yesterday and were talking about how they were buying stuff in the sale to give people for Christmas presents. I was all WTF? It is still summer. Obviously they heard this on the news and it inspired them. I do not think about Christmas until at least the end of September, usually not until the beginning of November.

It's funny how you've started counting so early. Is it really just 100 days? Seems a lot longer. Thanks for reminding me. I'm not one of those people who start countdowns. Holidays are nice and fun but I always focus of the here and now first and foremost.

Oh no! You and my boyfriend. He's already talking about Christmas.
It's only July! It's 92 degrees. I'm melting! I can't even start
to think about it yet. I love Christmas and presents and fun, but
I want to enjoy summer and I don't want to rush my life away.
So could you slow down a little and enjoy each day until then!

Really, 100 days to go? I just realized that we are already done with half of the year (almost) and August is about to kick in. Better start saving now for those Christmas tokens. If you can start buying some gifts, go do it also so you won't get caught in the Christmas rush. Weeee!! I miss Santa... It's time for us to play Santa to our daughter.

WOW! Are you serious? How can it be 100 days from Christmas already? This year was so far the fastest year of my life.
Is it just me or are years getting faster and faster?

It's seriously crazy how time flies so quickly throughout the year! Weird how once the countdown to Christmas starts, it goes by even quicker. I need to start saving money to do my shopping, although I think I'm going to make homemade jam and cookies for family since everyone has anything they'd want. It gets hard to buy for people once they get older!
