What do you think Coldplay's single "Viva la Vida" means?

I really love the track, but I'm puzzled by what the lyrics mean. Is it about the crusades? or something else? What's your idea?

The exact definition is long live life. But I haven't heard it enough to decipher the lyrics. So I can't help you there. However, Coldplay is an important band with lots of meaning. And I'm sure that their new CD will deliver just as much.

It means Live the life, thsi song speaks about how he use to live with pride and respect and at some point he lost it, now that he has it back maybe he is remanistant of the past. Just my opnion
