I am working on a project, and could use some help. I need to compile a list of common measurement used in cooking and purchasing. I know the common ones like cup, tbls, tsp,pint,gal,oz, bushel, box,case,can,lb each...
What can you add to this for me...

A few more are: peck, quart, pound, liter, milliliter, kiloliter.
Those are the only other ones I can think of at the moment.
What kind of project are you working on? It sounds like something that could be done for a 4-H project.

It is a costing application to be distributed to restaurant owners. This piece is a table that will be a look-up of unit of measures.
I know a lot of folks like to cook on this site, an might be a great resource...
