Is it just money to live?

Well, when it comes to life, and living, money is important, but not the only thing in life that I feel is necessary. To be happy, it takes way more than money. For me, it is a Roof over Your Head, Food in your Tummy, Friends and Family you can call on and count on no matter what you are going thru, and a belief in god to help see you thru. You could have all the money in the world, and still be unhappy if you've got no one and nothing else in your life to share it with. Same here in myLot. The people that come in here and post away only trying to make some Extra money never caring about how others might respond and feel about them, and actually, a lot of the time they end up hurting themselves as well, and end up leaving bad mouthing myLot as a whole, never having caught on to the gyst of what is important when it comes to this site as well. Personally, I would rather have my friends here in myLot, and all the wonderful things I have learned and have been able to share anyday then having a lot of extra $$ made in here each month, or leaving due to being disappointed because it might some months take the whole month before I actually am able to cash out.

I think it's because it's nice to have a little extra something in your pocket. I'm not overly worried about it, but it's nice to know that it's there. I see Mylot as a way to share your feelings that you wouldn't normally do with people in real life. At least that's how I treat this. About 98% of the stuff I type on the internet I wouldn't normally tell to people I know away from the computer.

Indeed , thats probably true.You can see a lot of postings relating to how much they can earn here on Mylot. Money is not really so important that it overshadows our daily lives. But of course you do need some money to help maintain your daily lifestyle. Perhaps the postings here on mylot offers a narrow view of what money is because of the challenges to show some results of your contribution to the activities. For me, its a way to enjoy meeting new friends and to share ideas on a diverse range of topics.

Sorry if I seem elitist, but I hope none of our myLot friends need this little bit of money to survive. It's barely enough to feed the parking meter when we go out to dinner. MyLot is about socializing, and the money gives us a common thread to follow until we get to know each other a little better. Sure, we'd all love to be rich, but we all know it's a rare occurrance.

money is not for everything, but if you have it, you can buy something that make you or your loved happy.

we need money to pay bills. but we also need love, hope, joy , and a purpose in life.
