Yeah, all my life. And this week has been particularly bad for me. So right now I'm in the 'everything sucks' mode and I can't stop. I've been beating myself up for other people's ignorance. I'm still waiting for people to behave more like people. Now I'm siting here with the news in my ear and life in general sucks for everyone. Pain doesn't discriminate.

You have started the wrong thread if you are looking for something to cheer you up! LOL ^_^ To answer your question: Yes. At times, I have been despondent when I've been disappointed. Life can be disappointing at times. People can do disappointing or frustrating things. A person can disappoint himself! The challenge is not to let yourself stay in such a position. A friend often tells me: "I don't complain, because it doesn't do any good, anyway. Plus, nobody listens!" Dr. Seuss (do you have him in China?) has a little book called, "Oh, The Places You'll Go". The main character embarks on the journey of life and faces all sorts of challenges. Sometimes he succeeds. Sometimes he fails. At one point, he is flying in a ballon, but then it gets caught in a tree. He ends up going to a place called, "The Waiting Place" - where people sit around - "just waiting" - waiting for something exciting to happen in their lives. They wait and wait and wait. But Dr. Seuss says, "No, that's not for you!" He says: "You have places to go!" and he encourages you to go out there, to get going, to climb your mountain. He ends, "Will you succeed? Yes! 98 and 3/4 per cent, guaranteed. Kid, you'll move mountains!" I am not Chinese. (I live in the USA.) But I have another Chinese friend on myLot who wants to learn better English. Learning a language is a challenge and a laudable endeavor! Life has its ups and downs. Sometimes it has more downs than ups. When you are down, you can either wallow in it... or you can look for ways to get out of it and find your way up again. That is my philosophy. For me, life has quite a few "downs" right now, but I can take these things, learn from them, and move on. ^_^ Thanks for the thread! Hopefully someone will cheer you (and the rest of us) up!
