Open page in next Tab

Did you ever wish Firefox3 would just open a page immediately after the current tab? A good example of this is when I'm on the leftmost tab and I'm on a discussion with a link, when I click it the page will open in the rightmost tab. Since this two are related and in order for me to switch between the two with ease, I have to drag the new page to the left immediately after the discussion page.
I found this addon Tab Control which overcome this issue. It also bring the focus to the left tab when the current tab is closed. If you also want to overcome this annoyance then visit this page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1480 .
Those who are into PTCs would find this tool very handy.

Aiks!~ They don't keep that feature?! I'm still using FF2, haven't updated yet. Is FF3 still in it's Beta stage? Haha, good thing we have a FF fore runner like you who solves all the issues 1st then feedback to us, haha. If it's still in the Beta stage could you like inform them or drop a suggestion or something?

Hey there bro! wow. That seems to be a great plugin for tabs. Yeah, hate it when the one you open goes all the way to the other end. I just open lots and lots of tabs when downloading multiple files. Well, I admit, I just got Firefox 2.0.0.16. 
Maybe it's time to make the move to firefox 3. Is it stable and a lot better than version 2?

I'm surprised Z your still using 2. I downloaded it during its download day and I never looked back. It is really great even youtube works better in 3 and its very stable compared to 2, load fast even with many addon, tabs to sawa(mylot record is 60+, on the net its hundreds). Try the portable version so that you could still use 2 for comparison, this addon is really a must for multiple tabs.

Thanks ferdz! I already upgraded to firefox 3. Well, it's pretty much the same. I can definitely see some graphical enhancements. Well, I ditched Firefox 2 though and went on ahead with version 3. Hey, I really appreciate the feedback on ver. 3. Thanks again!

I'll check this add on when my sister comes around and uses FireFox 3.. she's currently the only one, aside from me, who uses this browser.. I do notice the tab appearing at the right most side.. this would surely help out a lot.. Doesn't IE7 also have that tab feature as well? 
Does IE7 have issues which causes other users to switch to FireFox?

You always have the best Mozilla/Firefox
advice, so I didn't hesitate to download this.
Honestly, I love it!
The only thing I had missed about Internet Explorer was
that it would open my tabs next to each other, like you mentioned.
And that was useful cause usually new tabs are related to each other.
Well, now Firefox does the same thing!

This is great! I love Mozilla Firefox and use their screenshot program a lot too. I trust them completely and you can bet I'll be downloading this add on too.

Great Idea!
I am having the same problem and have not thought that there is
an addon for it. Thanks for this. I am downloading it now, but
it says I have to upgrade my version before I can add it. I think
I will have to upgrade first.
