I mean, when I say, "I like you," to my male friends, and when I said, "I love you," to my girlfriend and my family n my opinion, I'm not supposed to say,I love you," to my best male friend because of homosexuality. Is it true?

"Like" means you feel good about someone, and "love" has stronger feelings. I don't think it will be confused when you say you love someone whether it is he or she, because there are different kinds of love. And "I love you" has many different means when you say it in different scenes, in different tones and wearing different expressions.

No! Not at all. Who says love is only between people who have romantic feelings for each other? Friends can love each other. Do you love your friend? If it's the truth, than you should be able to say it.
