What do you think about the sellers in the stores?

When I am shopping in the supermarket, actually I don't want any sellers to bother me. Sometimes I just look at the products. And sometimes I compare to them. I don't like the offer me another brand of product which I haven't heard before. I like to use something I am familiar with. And when I have a question about the products, it seems it's harder to find the seller and that's quite boring.

Hmm... I don't mind trying different products if it is not going to cost me anything. If there is a new type of ice cream and they are giving out samples or if I find a coupon for a different type of tissue I will try it to see if what I have been using for years is still the best (most of the time it is but there are others where it is not).
I don't like people hassling me in the store but if there is someone there doing a demonstration or who is offering samples and it is me who takes the initiative to actually go up and try or find what it is then that is OK by me.
Thanks
Zelo

Hi youless! Just like you, I want to do my shopping in peace. I compare prices and read the labels. I only buy products that I have tried before and products that are highly recommended by people whom I trust and believe. I also, don't like the sellers or the promo girls hovering over me and recommending their own products. Besides, I just stick to my shopping list most of the time. haha..
Take care and God Bless!

I don't usually see sales assistants in grocery stores, but sometimes they are so aggressive in a department store that I will walk out right away if they bother me. But, lately, I've been having a hard time finding anyone who can help me. I wonder if they've cut back on sales people in major department stores. And, when I do find someone, they can't answer my questions and don't know anything about the products. But, I don't like pushy sales people as I am often just browsing and sometimes don't plan to buy anything at all.

A grocery store I thnk is one place you should not be bothered by workers. If I need anything I will ask for assistance.

I really do not love sellers because they disturb me. I cannot find the things i want to buy because keep on talking and talking. I also love to compare. Yes, it is true that when you need sellers, you cannot find them. I hate that because i have hard time looking for them

Yea I don't like the sales to bother me at all and I hate it when they talk a lot into buying their products. I think the best sales would be letting the customers choose and then explain in detail if she finds that you have a question.

Good afternoon, dear youless.
When I am at a supermarket, I also love to take my own time there to walk around to see the products placed on the racks by myself. I do not like anyone to follow me to introduce to me the products that they would like to recommend to me. I feel more ease when I am left alone without the saleswomen or salesgirls next to me. lol
