I slept for about 7 hours and I feel very very fresh now!
Usually I sleep for 5 to 6 hours at night. I think I should sleep a couple of hours more.
How long do you sleep at night? Do you think you could perform better if you slept more or less than you usually do?

Since its summer, I have been sleeping a lot. I dont think its healthy. Last night I went to sleep at 3am and I woke up at 12 but I was still tired for the rest of the day, so I took a little nap at 3pm and I woke up at 5pm after that. I love to sleep but I have been so lazy lately. Im going to have to wake up earlier in the future because I dont have a lot of energy anymore, which is ironic because I sleep so much.

hi buzzmaker,
i am similar with you. i usually sleep for 5 to 6 hours at night. yes, i think i will feel better if i can sleep 1 or 2 hours more. the problem is, i always sleep late in the night. even if i go to bed early, i will fall asleep at the usual time

Yea! that happens. I think its a matter of habit, you have to train your body and mind which will of course take some time!
Thanks for the reply. +

I usually get to sleep a maximum of 4 hours everyday. I'm an insomniac and it's very hard for me to get a good night's sleep. It's really frustrating especially since there are times when I know I need sleep (like when I'm sick or really really tired from work.) I'm not really sure anymore how I'll fare if I sleep longer since it's been a while since the last time I slept late.

Oh, 4 is too less! I think if you meditate it will help you to get quality sleep.
Thanks for the reply!

I had 7 hours sleep last night, I went to bed at around 12am and woke up just before 7am. I was hoping for a lie in this morning, but I woke up with a burning pain in my eyes. I function better on less sleep rather than more sleep.

Thanks! I thought the same but today I found out that I needed more sleep, about an hour more, at least :) Thanks!

I always sleep for far too long. Like 8-12 hours. Except when Im in school, then I'm back to 6-8. I read somewhere that it is not healthy to get fewer than 6 hours of sleep and more than 8 hours of sleep. So, you are right on target getting your 7 hours!
