Data Entry Jobs Conclusion

After reading a few discussions and their responses about Data Entry Jobs online, I have come to the conclusion that there just aren't any genuine jobs like that online. I think that it's a bunch of companies or people making money by scamming other people who are trying to genuinely earn some money online. I don't know about anyone else out there, but that's the conclusion I have come to, unless someone out there can convince me otherwise off course, which at this stage would be very hard to do. I started this discussion because I am one of those people who are trying to genuinely earn some money online and also I think that a job like Data Entry, especially one of those ones that I looked at where they gave you some key words and all you had to do was to make a kind of slogan/add out of them and you supposedly get paid anywhere from $25 upwards per form you fill out, would be the ideal way to make some serious money online without spending too much time or effort, but I guess it was just too good to be true. They off course ask for $50 up front to work for them. I guess things are different online where you have to pay a company to be able to work for them. In saying all that I'm still hoping that there IS jobs out there online that you don't have to pay for and that pays good money.
