I had Mirena for 4 years,it was the worst thing I ever done getting it. I gained so much weight I couldnt believe it,I was always the same weight until I got Mirena,some of the other side effects I had are,Thyroid problems,hair loss,facial hair,palpitations,dry skin,sinus problems,depresssion and more,I started a help site so that women can put their problems with Mirena on the site so we can help each other out with our stories of our Mirena nightmare. I had to have my tyhroids removed and now i am on meds for thyroids for the rest of my life.
