It is natural to mourn the loss of a loved one, I think you should allow your mother to grieve. However she should remember that weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning. The relationship your mother shared with her mother make make it hard to accept the loss so you need to be there for her to give that comfort and support that she will need at this time. You will also need to try to shake her out of it if this grieving continues for an abnormally long time.

We all are sorry to hear that.May god rest your grandmother's in peace.Ok so let me tell you try being with her all the time. She is disturb at emotional level try consoling not verbally always .In this case your action should speak more.Make her feel you are the one who really care when she is sad.Perhaps a son understand his own mother better than anyone else in the world.Have a nice day.

Sorry for Your loss...This was Your Grandmother who passed away? Is Your Grandfather still Alive? At times like this, the best thing You can do to help is to be there for them and be supportive, keep them Company or visit with them, and help them talk out their feelings over their loss..Talk with them about the good things You remember about Your Grandmother,Memories and things She'd say..As long as they're remembered, they're still with You.
