What do you do while you eat dinner?

Hey people, I'm just interested to know how people pass their dinner time.
For me, my family just watch TV while eating dinner. I will feel awkward without the sound coming from the TV. I don't think my mum likes the weird silent too so she will often tell me or my brothers to turn on the TV.

Hi Snoopy,
At dinnertime, I do not allow electronics. We have to talk to each other which is good because that is how I know what is going on.

My family consists of 2 + 2.We both and our two kids,16 yrs daughter and 12 yrs son.And all of us dine together.And of course our T V is on ,while we have dinner.

Before the marriage,we use to eat at the dinner table,at the dining area or kitchen.Now it's totally different.The living area becomes dining area not only dinner time but all the meals-breakfast and lunch.I totally don't like the idea because as i was enjoying the show i am enjoying the food as well. 
-that's additional weight.Eating takes so much time when we watch.

Oh nice of you to point out the cons of eating in front of telly. Reminds me of the time when I was a kid I used to have my eyes stuck to the telly and doesn't eat. Making the dinner a very long session. And my parents say "The TV can feed you up, no need to eat dinner."

hi snoopy you seem to have a nice name and a nice face as well, well comming straight to the question it is obviously that we eat first by sitting so i will sit while eating (hahahahaha)
that was really bad one .....so while eating food generally we talk about social welfare and stuff like that.
that is also bad i know that so now i am telling the truth finally,
i just watch TV and sometimes i listen to some very very very pleasant music as that makes me feel much much better.
and i do with my parents and brother as well.
ya talking personally this is my first post in MYLOt and that Goes to you and i feel that it is good and lucky as well and i am a new member out here so please rate me + as this is my First post and i will try to explore more and more about Mylot.
