why is it people dont believe in GOD?

You know Man was created by God, and Man has repelled against God, By doing his own desires man has displease God in nature and act. The Bible says how can they hear unless we tell them? So the spread of the Gospel has become very low this is the place where we need to strengthen, although there is so much influence that has prevent the spread of gospel like wealth, pride, ignorance and sins.

I think that people don't believe in God due to fear and ignorance. Satan will set in fear, guilt, or anything to keep a human from God. People dont' believe in faith anymore. People believe that they have to control everything. If I didn't have God to take control for me, I'd be totally exhausted. I need His help, and without Him, I would perish. Life is too complicated. I know as a strong believer that everything predicted in Revelations is coming forth. The storms are bigger and stronger, look at the twin towers, the destructiveness in the middle east, people worshipping money, greed, our nation's leaders, (I wont' go there) etc, etc, etc. I don't think it'll happen in my lifetime, but times are ending. I hope I'll be in the heaven's looking down when when the trumpets sound and Jesus comes back to earth. He's coming back, and I feel it's soon. But the people in the 50's may have thought the same thing. I don't know how much worse things will get before this happens. I really don't want to see for myself.

Because there's no evidence to suggest that he exists. There are thousands of books which contain in them information about numerous alternate worlds. Are we to assume that somewhere out there exists dragons, goblins, ogres, alternate realities, talking trees, and talking animals exist? Just because it's in a book, doesn't mean it exists. There needs to be something more than that. Anyone can make a prediction, and if it's vague enough (which most "prophesies" are) they have a higher chance of coming true because people will interpret that "prophesy" to fit what's going on in the world around them. Nostradamus was hailed as a decent prophet - but only because he left his work so open to interpretation it was hard NOT to apply it current events. The bible is no different.

ohh.. maybe those people hu dont believe in God has know faith and believe on his/ her self too.. to bad! and maybe he/she has a problem that made her/him think that their is no God, but please hu ever read this, even u have a very big bad difficulties dont forget that GOD is always on our side 24/7

(6) I don't think that they don't beleive, the question is why are the same things happening today, and very little has change. I could be wrong I want god to personaly come down and talk with them like he, did back in the books of the bible,some may ask why didn't that happen for every generation to come. You reemeber lazsrous,ware Jesus told him to rise before his sisters.I think and I could be wrong alot us of us would like to see you do what you do, than for some else to tell them, you get what i mean.Iam not talking aganist god, there should not be anyone poor in this world, why would god want the poor to be amonng us, if everything he has belong to us and him.I know in my heart he dosen't want that for some of his people and the rest be rich. My thought process is that the only way it will be a perfect world, is when this whole world goes away, then it will be a perfect World.

dear hugz200, this is an excellent question! people like to question things a lot, and they need physical proof to believe in things. i guess ever since the Enlightenment people don't just go around believing every tall tail they hear! those days are over! we need proof that god exists, and how? for god to show himself to us. and that will never happen......only to the extremely pious and good followers and those who do good deeds will, like Allah's prophets.

I don't understand it either. I have run into people who try to convince me that the universe just appreared or it has always been there and there is no such thing as time. Can image trying to prove that? I believe that God is here and He is with us all the time. He knows me better than I can ever know myself. Have you read the 'Left Behind' series? My goal is to finish the series by the end of the summer and I am on book 9 right now!

They are blinded by their ignorance and God will keep them that way until they decide to accept what is right and take Jesus into their heart.

some people believe science can explain the existence of things. everything in the universe fall within the laws of science, so they say, so why blame certain occurrence as God's miracles and wraths when when things just happen because that's how nature works. believers are spread out in line between science and God with a few in the extremes and the rest are somewhere in between. I am a believer of God and science. To me the laws of nature is also divine. The human brains that discovered these laws are of divine makings as well.

in my opinion, because they don't want to believe that in history, a named Jesus Christ exist.. that in today's discovery, a raised pathway were found under the Red Sea, the same path where Israelites took in crossing that sea.. that in history, there were really a day where the sun did not set.. to tell you, bible is also scientific..
