To me Laxman is one of the classic player and this is one of the unfortunate for him. he can play a good cricket in any international cricket grounds.May be the selectors chose the youngsters for the future world cup.

I think Laxman was injured or in bad form besides they feel he is not a good fielder. I think selectors in ODI's are banking on youth more than experience. No doubt he will be in the test side , he is a world class player, with enough experience, talent, timing, class that he can't be kept out of team for long.

Laxman----he was he is and and he will be the only SCAPEGOAT available for team India right from his entry into the cricket scene.... If at all he was made a regular in the one day team right from the beginning.....he could have been in par with the three other top players (sachin,dravid,ganguly) in the team today.......fitness!!!!!! oh cmmon......dravid n ganguly????????....i have never seen them field in the outfield till date....Laxxy is a wonderfull slip fielder......runnign btwn the wickets....oh cmmon again...wot r dravid n ganguly????????....even till date dravid dosent drag his bat down.....so so so...who is the SCAPEGOAT...BALI KA BAKRA....our own Laxman...... I really really really hope he will play in the World Cup......I dont even want India to win the cup...but i just want to c VVS play in the world cup.....
