Is b-u-x.net,buddypond.com is scam ?

I have joined b-u-x.net, but I think it is a scam. Because it shows same adds each time and when I click those adds, nothing appears on the browser. I also have noticed
that buddypond.com has the same problem.Can any one have the same problem ?
