When we are feeling depressed , we often take it out on people around us.
How can we stop doing this?
What to do?
me I do as following steps.
1) recognize my state of mind
2)press my hold button
3)identify my immidiate needs
4)express my needs calmly, and write down everything
5)then tear out

You are so right, I do this all the time, I use to work for this Senior Citizen, and she use to tell me that all the time, I even do it hear.

Honestly, I shut down entirely when I'm under stress or depressed. I sleep a lot, sometimes I write, but often I get online to chat with people. I try to act like nothing's wrong even though I know it's unhealthy.
Though I'm taking a step in the right direction... tonight I got home from a bad day at work, and my first thought wasn't sleep. Instead, it was "I really need to go on my bike ride..." So I guess that's good.
