Will you especially buy something because of the promotion?

I may do so, but the chance will very very very low. Normally if there's promotion and something I would like to buy, I will buy it. I seldom will go to especially go to buy something just because of promotion. If I earn a lot of money a month, I may do so. :D

I am a sucker for deals even if I don't need the items. I especially am a sucker for amazon.com deals. I have bought so many things on there that had huge discounts, and if you spend 25 dollars or more the shipping is free. Even in the grocery stores, I am a sucker. I usually can't leave the store without buying something that's not on my list.

well i try my very best not to... but if it is really, really, really bargain, plus the expiry date is still very far away.. i would buy and keep it as 'stock' but... this only applies to my household items.. or food... i dont buy any new clothes or bedsheets, or towels or things like that.. no matter how cheap they're on sale.. if i dont really, really need them...

USusaly now a days I will only go out shopping when there is a good sale to be found. I will only buy things I like though and not just buy something because it is a really great deal.

Well, i think i can't resist that either,especially when i'm in a Nike shop or an Adidas shop. You'll feel like if don't buy them you are gonna regret for the rest of your life. I tried once walked out the shop and i was about to taking a taxi and suddenly i turned back and went into that shop again. Have a nice day!

Sometimes i will buy something because of promotion. Because I could save the cost of the items if it is a promotion.

I will usually buy it if it's something that I already buy. For example, I use Brita filters and they were giving away those plastic bottles that everyone seems to be using nowadays. So, since I was already planning on getting filters, I took the ones that had the free bottle with them. But, the bottles turns out not to be all that great. I think, also, if it's something that is inexpensive and will be using at some time in the future, I might buy it at that time because of the promotion.

Yes...I have done this. I have some cute plates hanging on my kitchen wall that I got thru a promo.

Hi youless, That's a great deal for me..LOL! As long as it is very usable and even if I have it already, I will always get it..LOL! but, when it is really beyond my budget, I will just ignore it even if in my heart, I want to get it..LOL! Great thing that I willl just forget it when I got home and face with my routine again!

Hi youless! The bowl must be very nice since you already have few toothpastes at home. There are times that I can't resist promotional gifts too. However, I am really trying to just stick to my list and if the product is in my shop list, then I will buy it as long as I know I am having a good bargain. haha.. Take care and God Bless!

Usually I can't resist, when have this really really good promotion. Like over here, when I buy skin care.Once you spend a certain amount, they will give you these traveling sets which is really good. Sometimes I guy a certain brand of toothpaste because they came together with this really nice looking ceramic plate.

Nope - I buy because its on clearance! Even if its some thing that I don't need - some thing that I think I may need I buy it, because its a good deal. I don't normally buy things because it comes with some thing free in less I need it or am going to need it soon. I just but because I have this need to look at every clearance rack every time I go to a store!

My Dad will yield to such attractive promotional offers, and he will go for shopping to buy something ..and in the end buy..something which he never planned for, just because of the promotional offers. But i will not yield to such a kind of offers.Just make sure that if the thing is necessary or not for me to buy, at that moment. Take care friend.

I would definitely go for promotional items. However, it also depends on what items these are. At the same time, it depends on what the main product is. I wouldn't buy something I do not need just because it comes with a freebee or something. Personally, I do not think it is practical at all. Like there are times that I see some perfumes wherein when you buy one you will get a free bag or pouch or even a stuffed toy. No matter how attractive the giveaway is, if I already have that specific perfume in my collection, I would just end up appreciating the giveaway item.

Hello youless. The only time I buy an item to get the promotion is when Clinique make up has a promotion. I just love those cute little make up bags with all kinds of sample products in them! In fact, I try not to replace any of my Clinique products until there is a promotion. That way, I actually need a make up item when I purchase it, plus I get the promotional items. So, I guess you and I have something in common.

Funny that I just read this discussion now after you posted it three months ago. Just yesterday I ordered some Avon just to get the free promotional gift. I had to order something from pages 4 to 11 to get a free watch that I really liked. So I bought some cream for anti aging even though I know the cream is nothing special other than a moisturizing cream, that cost me $35 for the cream but I get the watch for free and the watch is supposed to be worth $30. I know next campaigne the watch will be for sale, that's how Avon works, and it will be for sale at probably $20, but I just wanted that watch now, not in the next campagne which I wouldn't then recieve for another 4 months or so. I will use the cream too, I am sure.

Now that you mentioned it, yeah, I think I do. I have run into some promotions, mostly in supermarkets, and they offer a special item or get more quantity of the product if you purchase now. I also ted to purchase some product with freebies such as your toothpaste with a bowl. It wouldn't hurt to have something for free.
