Do you text message while you are driving? Do you think is dangerous or it doesn't pose any threats or obstacles while you are driving? For me, I could type sms with one hand while the other hand is driving with my head not looking at the phone. But, many of my friends who sat in my car think it is dangerous. Any opinions?

While driving it is dangerous, I don't do it. It would be good to use something like voice recognition to dictate to the phone, but, anyways, it is better to use it when you aren't driving.

...And that would be possible, as more and more cars support cellphones...

text is the cause of accident. you can't talk over the phone while driving. we better stop in a safe place and then do the sms. you can't do two things at the same time.

Well I am sure you are pretty confident of doing both the things at the same time. And well even tho it might freak out the passengers it might seem quite safe to you.
But for anything bad to happen(God Forbid), it need not necessarily be your fault. If there were a speeding vehicle coming your way out of control I would feel that you d better with both your hands on the wheel than just one of them. And considering that such an incident could happen anytime at all, I d rather you not msg while driving. But eventually its upto you.
