That is a dumb question! Good job at dumbing down for mylot. LOL Im just playin'. But I kind of agree that it makes you wonder. I have my own picture on here cuz its me and i figured someone who reads my post might like to know who's writing it. But i guess not. LOL. Anyways, I am guessing that it's a cultural thing of some sorts..

I will give you my opinion maybe that is the women that this man want to have in life or that is what they want to be. What do you think?

Well, I've noticed a trend here at MyLot...women usually have avatars of pets, kids or sexy men...men usually have avatars of pets, cars or sexy women. Either one usually have pics of themselves. Some leave the little green guy up or put some generic pic up. As to why guys from India seem to put up sexy women avatars, I'd think it is b/c they are young guys who like to look at sexy women and so they put them as their avatar so they can look at them all the time. yeah i know i have always wanted people to use their own picture so i know who im talking to since who knows? i always use my picture if i use a human picture (which is always) but i have seen it often where it will have a girl and it turn out to be a guy user

Hi, sorry for my late answer...You're right, it may be a serious reason, like being homosexual, for example...or, being from India, there the WOMAN is almost sacre, so it's a way to demonstrate that...In the very negative way, there're guys who like to use a nonsense avatar, to hide(maybe are terorists...:-() ArkhAnum

At least the beautiful woman is still a feast for the eyes. Maybe the woman is their dream date, girlfriend or their fav singer/actor/celebrities? I remember seeing ghost avatars, the very spooky type where there's a head of a long hair woman and you only see the eyes staring at you. My.... that is one avatar that I have to keep avoid looking. Gives me the goose bump. My avatar here is one of my wedding picture abt a year ago. I have always put my most beautiful photo as my avatar. needless to say, I love myself looking pretty and to a certain extend wanted to show off? hehehehe....

Maybe they're into visualization of the woman they like and wish that staring at their avatar would - by some cosmic power- bring the girl to them?

It is by no means a dumb question, i have always had my thoughts on that for a long time as well. In as much as i respect other answers you have had, to me its more of I have a beautiful avatar and i will get more profile views. What ever it is, it is a strong trend & As you have put it why is it that its mostly indians? I had my first avatar of a comic of lil jon who is a producer i like the best. But now as we are approaching Christmas, i have gone a bit cheesy

yes, im glad you brought that up i kind of wondered to. i wonder often why people do pick the avatars they do. i have a pic of my own self, so, i guess i dont mind my looks. lol.

You answered my question. I've been wondering the same thing. I thought an avatar (which I still don't know how to download can someboy help me with that) was supposed to reflect the person in some way. I've gotten a few surprises too! By the way Sconi, I really like yours! I can't wait to hear the answers about all the womens pictures that the men have. I don't get it and I'm glad I'm not the only one!!!
