I got a pell grant when I was in college also. I dont think grant money is as easy to come by as it once was but it is still out there. If you need a grant for soeh=mthing I would suggest you apply. You never know what will happen unless your try.

Grant, email. Those words together make me suspicious. There are grants for school. Pell Grants, as I recall. However, I do not think you need an email to tell you how to get one of those. Anyone wanting to go to college who has a high school advisor should be told about them.

Yes there is actually grant money available. However, actually wading through the bull to get to the actual point where you know where to apply is not always easy. I received Pell Grant monies for college, and I have written grant proposals for the volunteer fire department I was a member of, and we received grant money for building on to our station. It takes time, and you have to be ready, in a lot of the cases, to state clearly what the money will be used for, detailing the use. A lot of those sites that want you to 'give' you information, charge you for their programs, which is actually something most people can research and find out for free.

It has been a while. But yes I did. I obtained a Pell grant when I started college. It was the only one I ever got.
