hi all,
can some one please tell me why when i do a long letter of discussion it says i can only use a certain few things, and i didnt do any of what it says..i just finished a huge long discussion on marriage and it was a great topic and yet again it didnt go through, im sooo angry that it keeps doing it ...
i have done a few long msgs and they go through, can some one shed some light as to why its doing this..

I've noticed when it's happened to me that I've used certain symbols or abbreviations, and those can cause the discussion to not go through. When I redid the discussion without them they went through just fine. I hope this helps you a bit hon. Hugs!

i dont know what i did but i know i never put any thing just full stops and commers so i have no idea what i have done ..its happened a few times and it reallly makes me mad lol . so im just going to keep my msgs to a half page and so far thats been ok..

Well, i can say that i love short words to read only. Sometimes i do not have time so i just need to browse it fast, you really need to write short. Sometimes other people are not interested on topics. You should now what's in and out.That's what i think

Why not just break it down into several short posts? Many people don't have the patience to read longer posts.

and no it ws about my marriage, i think i should have done it shorter lol i was just typing away and thought i better stop lol..again thank you im getting a bit confused with all the msgs up above lol one thought i was talking about the money lol...

There are quite a few things that can prevent a MyLot discussion from posting. The nickname for Richard is one of them. Any word that has a connotation that might be construed as a profanity. Greater than and less than signs. Square bracket...and so on. It's a real pain to figure out what they don't like in your post, because they don't tell you. Their parsing filter is really dumb sometimes.

Just out of curiosity, what State are you in? I have two cousins in New South Wales (Port McQuary). When we were kids, we always talked about going to Australia. He did...and never came back. His sister joined him about 8 years ago.
I've also got a couple of goo (cyber) friends in Sydney.
