Who is your hero?

Growing up we were around many people who influenced our life. Who is the person or persons that are your heros? My heros were my father and my grandmother. My grandmother was a wonderful person, She was very kind, compassionate, and was always routing for me. My mother and I had a troubled relationship and I sort of adopted my grandmother as a stand in so to speak, I was so very sad when both my heros passed away. It is funny but when I was around 8 or 9 years old, I made the conscious decision to model myself after my grandmother. A couple of months ago, I was talking to my brother and he made the comment that I was just like my grandmother. He couldn't have paid me a higher compliment. My father was also my hero. Unlike my grandmother, who I thought had no faults at all, I was aware of my father's shortcomings but he is still my hero. I watched him in his profession, as an attorney, and he was looked up to by other attorneys. There were times when he would help people out who couldn't afford to pay him and that was ok. He was also very kind, loving and an all around good guy. He made the comment one time that he felt that he didn't have the connection with me as he did my brothers but he was so very wrong.
