!Hey I Thought I Was In Heaven!!!!

Hi all my friends at Mylot,
I thought i was in heaven I was quietly working away on Mylot when I husban came down stairs and I heard pottering in the kitchen,then all of sudden he give me a glass of red wine,Isort of frawn and carried on with Mylot and then he brought me a bowl of strawberry and cream, eh", !Strawberries and cream! yes! oh and is past midnight I can't beleive it he never ever ever done anything like that in all the years that we have been married. He is normally in bed this time of night but is staying up late and most of the day tomorrow because he is cycleing all night for a special event starting from London Victoria station.He is mad I think that is why he bought stawberries cream a glass of wind yummmm! Has anyo e done that for you late,late in the night?

Yes that was a long time ago and it was an one off thing, he hasen't done anything like that again, maybe I'll give him a hint, summer is round the corner and strawberrys will be out soon, so who knows? thanks for bringing this old one up again. Hugs.

Hi Kiran,
You think so? it the first time in 28 years and only because he was keeping awake for a little while,mine it was quite a shock ask littleowl she know him too well, she'll get the shock when she see this hehe hey kiran thanks for your views yes hes not a bad soul really, thats while it lasted so long.

I would find this gesture to be nice and really exciting. How romantic. I would also think my husband was sick if he was up at midnight and offering me romantic drinks and strawberries. He's not this type of man but would definitely know what he was after if he made it a point to bring me things while I was at the computer. I'd turn off the computer and find out the rest of the story...lol

Hi carilbee,
I know my husband too well he likes his food, I realised he wnated something eat late at night so that why he done that, mine I did enjoy that and afer he eaten his he went straight to bed and fast asleep now he has gone on his bikeing journey and wont be back till tomorrow night. !Yes peace and quiet! Hi,
There are nights when I cant sleep and will come down and have a pot of tea . There are many times I would like if he would when I cat sleep come down and talk to me, and be the one to put the tea on . He does have work so I do understand . Sounds long over do, but it must of been nice . I love strawberries and cream, esp the cream

Thank you so much you are my good friend too you are a busy student and I am home most time but I have to go to make my husband his dinner and after I usually come back to Myot and stay to very late. So don't worry I understands.

I've just come across this because someone responded to it yesterday and it came up in my friends' started list. I suppose it is just a heavenly memory now? I wonder how the all-night cycle ride went.
I wouldn't get anything from my hubby at that time of night. He's always well tucked up because he's off to work at 5 am. But he does come home and bring me tea in the morning when he thinks it's time for me to get up.

Hi jakill,
I think that was a one off thing he done and it was on one of his days off from work, he is planning another bike ride in Scotland in two weeks time and when he comes back he will be planning another all night ride again, he don't make me any drink in bed for me but when I come downstaires, I just gives him a hout to make me a cup of coffee, he does that. No, that is so sweet of you thinking that, I know it was really lovely and the strawberries and cream were great he bought them earrly today when he went to get my medicine from the chemist so I didn't know so I was very suprised of his effects it was nice now he is in bed fast aslleep
