Fear of Success?

Have you heard about fear of success? Many people would say that they are afraid of failures that are why they are afraid to take risks in their lives. But I once read in a motivational book that fear of success also exists. People who are afraid or are overwhelmed by success are afraid of the new responsibilities and challenges that success brings. Success after all is not an easy thing to handle.
Maybe fear of success more than the fear of failure is what keeps some people from achieving their full potential and doing great things.

..I agree with your opinion.. there are people who just dream but they are afraid to take risks when in fact, the reality is, when we overcome those risks. we find it more fulfilling and satisfying if we achieve our dreams.. we feel happier.. those people who just dream are the pessimistic ones.. they view life situations in a negative way and they become desperate.. they always complain but they are not doing anything.. they want something, but they can't even make the first step to get it.. that's why its really true that its not how many times we fall that matters, its how many times we get up from falling that matters most..

Yes, I do believe in this thing called fear of success. Many would see it otherwise but really that's what it is. Everyone of us have fears. We can't deny it nor remove it, but there are ways to control or overcome it. Increasing your courage is one. Courage is not the absence of fear but controlling your fear.
