In our country ,to enter university ,the high school pupils have a great examination .If ur mark is above the limit mark ,u pass ,if not ,u fail and have to find another way to live instead of studying in universities . Parents alway expect their children pass the exam ,so they made pressure on their children . After 12 years learning in school ,university examination is time for them see their children resuilt . But the children fear of the exam when they have to work in high pressure like this .Some of them try to hiding the examination .I think in ur country ,we have change our opinion ,children do'nt try to go university in any ways .They can find a good jobs ,what they want to do and start learning .It's better than make pressure for children go to university

Good evening, dear friend. It is the same here in China that parents expect too much from their children at school. So it is with their schools. We have a national college entrance examination every year, which is the very moment to decide the kids' fate, whether to pass or fail the entrance exams. But it seems that in China, almost most units, like companies, schools and government offices and so on pay more attention to your degree. The higher degree you get, the better and the more chances you will get for a promotion based on your working performance and degree. I think that it is terrible to have always the degrees considered when enrolling one as their staff and such. But in fact, many people who do not go to college can make a better fortune than those who have had college education...

I think so . There are a lot of peoples think when they have a high degree ,they have a good job .But some peoples who have no education or lack of education can be milionares or billionares .And peoples who get a high degree and good resuilt in schools and universities have to work for them :) Thank for response ,Sir Williamji

I'm confused. Are you trying to blame your country's education system for spoiling some of your people's future? Or are you trying to say that such examinations cause extra pressure on a child? Because as far I remember, I also used to think that such examinations are a waste of time, but as I'm close to getting my graduate's degree I have realised that such examinations are really necessary, because university studies are very important and tedious and a student should be efficient enough to manage it. Parents pressure their children to get through such examinations because they want them to have he best possible future. They just care for their wards and want them to be successful in their lives. That attitude of children hiding from such examinations shows that they are not fit to be in such high tech education level and good for them that they find jobs and live their lives. But if they would be strong enough to just go through that exam, they would surely make a better life, than the one they would have without that education. bourne

as I comment above ,when love and hope become pressure for children .As u see ,it's not every one can get success in school ,everyone can get high marks, A or A+ in school . What do u think when u know u have no ability to do these task but u forced to do when u see that any body around u lay all their love and hope on u? It's the same with the children I said in this topic .They know who they are and what they can do ? But after 12 years in school ,father and mother try to think that their son or daughter is genius :) .Thank for response . P/s: Soem people get another way to live ,even more ,strong and power ,success life .Life made by us ,not made by any teacher in school :)

I can say that it depend upon the children. If they are interested in going to universities they will not be pressured because they love what they are doing. I attended school in one of our universities here in Philippines but i am not pressured because i love it and i am very excited

But I said the children who don't want to go university and they are really want to find another way to live ,not in degree or certificates .U see ,in orient countries like vietnam ,japan, china ..etc.. father and mother give all their love and hope to children and so on,expect the children get success .It not wrong ,but when the expecting become pressure ,they try to warn and force the children go in the way they showed ,travel through the points they made ,it not excited like u ,my friend :) And what do u do if u forced to be in a place u don't like ??? It the real meaning of this topic .Thank for response :)

In my own perspective, I think it's better not to pressure the child to let him/her make in to the university. That's the reason why they are hiding the exams. But on the other hand, a university standing for a child would make the best fortune in the future whether it's financial or non-financial. I think the best thing to say about it is to have a good parent-child relationship. It's like building a good team and a good team will likely to have their goal than a bad team. I think it will not build child pressures too much because it will ruin everything for a child.
