how manu buttons are there on your monitor

i use a philips monitor for my desktop pc, it has around 8 buttons, so far i dont know waht all hese buttons are for, i jsut increase or decrease the pixel size otherwise i have so far not used these buttons except for switchingon or off the monitor

dear knightrider, lol yes i suppose that's what buttons on moniters tend to do! increase decrease brighten tint whatever! i have 5 small buttons on my moniter which serve the same purpose as yours lol

Im using a "CEREBRA HCM 581" monitor... I got from cyberage computer scheme from government of goa.... It has 4 buttons:- 1) Function Button :- This button is used to select differnt functions like contrast, brightness, widen, move screen etc... 2) and 3) :- These buttons are used to increase or decrease the settings selected by fuction button... 4) Power button :- These button is to turn off the monitor.... Pressing button 2 and 3 simultaneously RESETS all the settings... My monitor also has a total of 9 LEDs... 1 for power and remaining for the different functions...

I think it varries from 3 to eight buttons in a monitor
