So who all here is a fan of all those wonderful olds school NES/SNES games? What were some of your favorites? Some games I used to play religiously when I was younger were Adventure Island, Super Mario Brothers (favorite is defintely 2!), Mario Kart, and Little Nemo. I also loved Super Mario 64. And I recently found an emulation download so I can play them on my computer. Now I just need to buy some game controllers I can plug into my computer's USB outlet and I'll be all set.:D

Awww. forget Nintendo... I miss ATARI!! Pole Position, PacMan, ET, Defender, all those! I don't think I ever really got into Nintendo except Sonic, which I beat many, many moons ago.

Haha, I never played Atari, I don't think. I remember being all over Nintendo when I was younger, though. And just an FYI, Sonic is Sega, not Nintendo. I know it's the same basic idea as Nintendo but still.. totally different consoles. :)

I think I was a little older than Nitendo. Atari was the first gaming system that we had. My younger sister got Nintendo in the late 80s early 90s.

Here are my top 10 NES games, which gave me knowledge, bad marks and good excuses to miss school!! I've not gone by any specific rating..just my own liking. In order, they are:- 1) Contra - Who can ever forget that game!! The closest thing to playing Rambo!! Actually it still is.. All rambo games sucked!! 2) Super Mario - This is one game that went on and on and on and on and on and on and on.. *sniff* and on. 3) GI Joe:The real American Hero - Now how could you not love the title???!!! u actually get to be all those cool joes!! YO JOE!! 4) Double Dragon I - This was one of the first games that I remember playing that came in a single cartridge and the worst part was that I got hold of it just 2 weeks away from my 8th grade exams!! But I finished it by the time my exams were over.. just barely passed that year **whew!!** 5) Abadox - Another Cool game where you swim (fly?) through a monster's gut n all. 6) Ninja Gaiden - Yet another kickass title for the NES!!! This was soooo much fun!! 7) Batman - The first Batman game for the NES. This was so cool, that I remember every bit of this game like it finished it yesterday, the graphics, the music,...mmmm. 8) Punch Out - This was one radical game... it's like ur this little runt, who kicks big guys butts!! 9) Darkwing Duck - Slick Disney production, turned this avg toon show into a smash hit arcade game!! No doubt in my mind, it deserves it place here! 10) Castlevania III - I still get goosebumps thinking about this. This is one of those games, people say you shouldn't play, cuz it gives u nightmares n stuff... well, I saw, I palyed and I slayed!!! This ranks in my opinion as one of the Best NES game ever!!!
