What is the lifetime of the AMD phenom because some people say that AMD processors have short lifetime.
I once used an AMD processor but after 1 year it was broken. I dont know why.
How many years where you using an AMD processor? How much does it cost?

My friends often ask me the same question and I always tell them it depend on what you need it for and your budget. With the rate processors are advancing these days, your expensive top of the line will be old in 6 months and normally they go with new board and memory all together. If your going to use it for simple word processing, office applications and internet browsing then even a single core processor would handle your requirements with ease. If your a gamer then do not compromise, get the recommended specs from your game and stick to it.

Yes and much more, I do graphics, video/audio conversion and messaging and my unit is an old one. I'm using AMD +2500, 512MB DDR, 128MB AGP video card and 160Gb HD. I find your needs do not require a hi end one. Even the last model about to be kicked out of circulation(which is of course a lot better than mine) would be enough for you. So now your limit is your budget.

I have posted above some my most widely used programs. Are you using this programs all together too?
Yes, i have seen that trend to this recent years. And should i really invest on processor or buy other computer parts that will improve my overall system or buy an assembled computer?
