how do you make friends?

are you the person who will approach a person and introduce yourself. i do make friends by smiling at them first and let them approach me and talk to me. that will be the first move to have friends. i have to know them first .

Hi, same here. I like to smile to people to draw them closer and amile has always been my first step of diplomatic activities. I can't act like other guys who is so bold to just step forward and cut in and say hello, this is...blah, blah...

I make firends on the internet by first introducing my self,
But the latest secrets of making friends on the internet is by helping the person first through giving them latest information that may be useful to them e.g about health,money making tips.
I think this so far is the way of making friends

I'm the same as you. I just smile at them and then wait for them to take action.
I rarely approach someone and talk straight away.
