Hey friends, Do you like to travel in a Bus for long distance, by watching the outside site seeings.. may be in the day times..
Yes, I have travelled during my school days, for some 40 to 50 kms distances.. often.. Its really a very thrilling experiences in those days..
But now a days, since we don't have a time to travel for a long time, we used to go to our relations home (which is around 350 kms from our city) by our own car. and also we used to visit may be twice in a year..
Since we use our own transportation, we can choose our timings, any time we can start and we reach at any time.. we can stop at any place for our food and snacks.. and also since we have a kid, we suppose to stop on the way for his feeding and food..
What about you.. post your experience about the Bus travel..

Hi.
I have traveled a bit by bus. I don't think that traveling by bus for distance more than 200 kilometers is good. I feel like cramped and congested if I am in a bus for more then 3 hours. I would rather prefer a train for longer journeys. I have traveled a lot through the trains. I would rather say that I do like traveling and both bus and train are good to me.

I do normally enjoy travelling in a bus and enjoy the experience of the scenery, the weather and people that we meet.
Unfortunatley my last experience, just 2 weeks ago was an unpleasent one for the simple reason that I got a seat right at the end and the bus was not one with good shock absorbers. It was a long journey of over 12 hours and ever time the bus went over some form of uneveness on the road I was thrown up a few inches from my seat. It was like a roller coaster ride.

When it comes to traveling, I like it in a bus, in a train, in a plane, whatever way you can do it! There are challenges with a bus. Not all buses are nice, but some are. You just never know what you are going to get. Once I took a bus from London all the way to Edinburgh on vacation, and it broke down. Another time, I was on a bus in Hawaii, and it broke down in the middle of a lava field. Do I have bad luck with buses or what??

I used to like to travel in Bus.....
But now after a lot of traveling in buses from my house to college (40 kms) for about 4 years... I dont like it anymore...
Now i have a bike... and like to ride on my bike......
But for very long distances i would prefer trains than buses.. its difficult to sit at one place for such long journeys....^_^

I am very keen on traveling and train is my favorite form of transportation. I quite like to travel by bus if a train service is not available. When I am on a bus I like to look out of the window at the scenery. I love to see coastal views and countryside areas. I like to see lovely architecture and local people living their daily lives. I can happily travel all day or a whole night on a bus. But I wouldn't feel happy on a bus journey of more than about 12 hours. Often the seats are uncomfortable and there is little leg room on a bus.
In Australia by law buses must have rest stops after so many hours traveling. The bus stopped off at 4am and everyone was sleepy. On a night bus I was asleep and then woken up by a man shouting to the driver. He had been the only passenger awake. All the luggage had fallen out on to the highway! The driver had to go back to retrieve it.
When I was in Samoa I noticed that the local bus was getting more and more passengers on board. People began sitting on each others laps! It was really funny to see this. Someone sat on my backpack so I arrived with fruit juice dripping all over the place. In Fiji I was on a local bus when it began to rain so the bus driver put down the plastic covers for the open windows so the passengers wouldn't get wet.

when i was a kid i didn't like to travel by bus for long distances coz i had the habit of vomiting. But now i don't have any such problems and i can manage a big bus journey! But bus is not my favorite mode of transport, i use it only if there is no other means of transportation available. Train is my favorite mode of transport for long distances.

You know what, I just tried once to travel though bus, at first I thought I might not enjoy it since I always get dizzy easily but then I did actually enjoy it. It happen when me and my friend visit my another friend's house at her province.
I enjoyed the travel so much that until now I still have my bus ticket as a remembrance.

Bus is okay for me, but not that fond though. I mean, if there are other transportation other than bus to used I would gladly ride it. Bus sometimes make me sick, I feel nauseous with the smell of the aircon sometimes. But I agree with you, it was quite jolly to travel in a bus along the province and sightseeing. There's enjoyment in traveling as well with your friends.

From my house to university, I need to take 3 buses. Therefore, I am used to traveling by bus. I really like to travel by bus especially when my love is by my side or when there is a good music in the bus

I ride the bus all of the time. Mostly because I don't have my liscence yet, haha. If somewhere is too long for walking distance, then I will catch a bus to get where I need to go. :D

Yes,many times.
We don't have our own car that's why we always travel on bus.
Some times I'm bored because of a long distance travel.

Traveling could be fun depending were you are going and how long the trip is.If your sight seeing then time could really fly.Once I was on a trip from Chicago to Houston,Texas which is about a two day drive. The sights were pretty amazing and time flew. We made a few stops for food and rest, but overall i rather take the plane....

I have traveled by bus. But not for a long time. I didn't care for it. It was uncomfortable. It was too crowded. I prefer to go by car.

I have been used to commuting by bus back home in the Philippines. But it sure is quite different here in Malaysia. The buses take so long, like 30-45 minutes before it arrives in my area. I mean, every 30-45 minutes since this is like a local bus. It's kinda frustrating. But sometimes when I'm in the bus already, I like to look at the sights and imagining spending time with my boyfriend while listening to some music on my iPod. So it can be a pleasant and unpleasant experience for me sometimes.

actually, i like to travel about 90-100 kms often by bus. i like one point to point travel near my area which i like most. i can travel by train as it takes only 1.5hrs, but if i travel by bus it takes 2.15hrs. this is the fact, but i like to travel in bus only rather than to travel by train. but i dont like travelling by bus above 200 kms. as its very boring. and i cant able to sit for that much time to travel those kms.
