ive been there. im a secretary and at the same time adiministrative assistant. our work is different. we work on field also. we do charity works. we go to places that ive never been before. we go to poor urban areas, feeding children and giving gift. we also do free medical and dental and free mass wedding. im all around not just a secretary. but i loved it, ive learned alot from it. its an eye opener to me. how lucky i am to have good life, while there are people who dont eat on time and no proper house to live. no food to feed their children.

Hi zeny, yes, like you i'am a government employee (civil servant)my self, almost 15 years now. if i may ask, are you with the DSWD? my agency is under DOTC, i work in an airport which is run by the government (GOCC). yes, we are lucky considering the small salary we get, but then again, it's the service that counts. it is really a pity to think that we work for the people who are being criticized by the public. well, we cannot deny it, but most of the time, what people say are true. there are some of us that do graft and corruption. if you would look closely, those are the employees that where hired through "palakasan system". i am not saying it generally but most of them. but for you, keep up the good work, the public needs servants like you. MABUHAY! regards....
