Its really surprised me today!

That's funny, but not really funny at all considering the effort we put into our responses. I never had that experience though and I haven't seen any bug here except that when I opened my browser, I was logged out by mylot. So I just log in and check the "remember me" box. I hope they won't log me out next time. I thought I have encountered a bug earlier but it was really my fault. A member here is asking how to add text to an html code without making it appear that the text is glued to the banner. I type some codes and when I pressed the "post response" I was send to the same page with my response gone. I do it over and over about five times before I knew that I am not allow to post html codes here. Before, when I post html codes, I receive warnings. But now I don't so I thought it was a bug. Maybe mylot should reinstate that warning thing. Have a nice day!

Yep, there are still quite a few bugs that need to be worked out. I was getting strange error messages the other day but I haven't been online much since then and I understand that they shut down for a bit yesterday so they're getting there.

Yea. There's quite a few bugs. One of my friends complain about her keep getting log out of mylot. She took 4 attempts to complete her reply to my discussion. =S So far, I consider myself lucky. I haven't encounter any bug. The only bug problem I encounter has to do with uploading images. This happened for both the old and new layout. I always cannot upload my pictures properly. Sometimes my pictures end up in another post.

Well, I was unaware of the smileys until recently. I don't think 200 is a milestone but 500 really is. Since then I'll be able to copy and paste.

These things do happen. So bugs are anywhere but I won't get annoyed.

Hi, i dont't think it is a bug..it generally happens when your account automatically logout after you remain idle for more than 5 minutes..Then you have to login again and the message you got will not appear.. I think the same happnend with you..U must be logout at that time.. try it once again..Write to a post contining smileys and before pressing the post response button, remain idle and do nothing and den see it.. I hope this is the reason but not very much sure..

honestly, i don't have the experience as like you just faced but i will notice from now on who knows someday i will face the same thing as like you face at this moment. so, how is it now? still goin on?

Oh my, that just has to be a blip in the system. Have you ever tried to upload pictures ? or did you copy and paste? if you cant do these then it maybe worth contacting mylot.

Hi subha12 Well I logged into mylot after a long time. Didn't knew about this problem but that's really sad to know that users are experiencing these type of problems. Surely smileys add a lot of aliveness to the discussion

You were automatically logged-out from the system. That might had happened to you. Since the day they done the upgrade of the site, a lot of members posted different problems they have encounter. And I have also one discussion I started regarding such problems. I just hope that mylot has already fixed such bugs with the new layout. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

Sounds like it must be a bug. And you obviously have more than 200 posts, haha, over 10k posts, so a bug being on this site would make sense.

OMG. If I were you I'd do a major double take. I mean here you are, with a post count over ten thousand and boom, you're not allowed to post a smiley. I'm not sure whether I'd be highly amused or annoyed. Heh. But I guess we're bound to experience all sorts of bugs with this new layout. Makes me wonder what will be the most riddiculous/annoying one. Have a good mylotting

hi friend,oh, i am sorry to hear this frustration on you.I indeed met a problem when i write a long discussion on mylot when the first day of the new layout used.BUt i have fixed the problem by myself.i have not met a problem when i post a smile expression..I think it is just a systme erroe, why not try again later? I experienced thesame thing yesterday or so,although i have posted over 200 posts.

It looks like they still need to work out a few bugs before they can finalize the new set up.

Hi subha12. Don't worry, this kind of situation happened to me too yesterday. I was posting a response and just like you, a message appeared. Well, there's a lot of things that are happening here. That's happened to me before, usually when I left a response page open for too long and myLot logged me out for not being active enough. It confused me at first, but at least you don't lose the post!
