Blogger or WordPress???

For any bloggers here, which site do you use or prefer, Blogger or WordPress? These are the main two that I hear about and would also like to know are there any other's that are free and good to use? Are there any free ones that allow you to choose which ads you can put on on besides AdSense or are they the one's that you have to pay for?
I wouldn't mine paying for one if it's reasonable and could earn the monthly fee back but just wondering if there any other good blogging sites are are those two just the most popular? Thanks! LadyT

I use both, but I prefer WordPress. I've registered my domain name and have installed WordPress. It gives me more options than blogger.
Blogger, on the other hand, is good because it's free and simple to use. Anyone starting out should try blogger first. Once you get the hang of blogging, then try WordPress.

One thing I keep forgetting to ask: are you allowed to put affiliate links on or in your posts for blogger? Thanks again!

I have read some articles about this. And based from my friends' experiences, they choose wordpress. Though both of them have their own pros and cons. What they like in wordpress is that you can organize your posts in categories unlike in blogger where you can't. So, if you are looking for a post, you need to go over all your posts first before finding it. That's what my friends told me.
