DVD's

I own probably about 100 dvds. They are mainly movies, I buy them when they are in the sales so can often get them quite cheap. However I have a few TV series, the ones I really like such as Desperate Housewives and the OC.

I own maybe 20 to 30 dvd's I need to get more but at $20 a dvd that is just not going to happen right now. I need to upgrade all the movies I have on vhs to dvd maybe one of these days I will be able to do that but for not I have both.

I used to buy tons of them but got sick of watching them a few times and then they sit and collect dust i used to have about 200 of them but thinned it out to about 50 and I don't store them in the cases any more, takes up way too much room.

I bought my laptop last year and that was the first time I was able to watch DVDs because I don't have a TV or DVD player. I started buying movies on DVD and now I have about twenty. I have watched some of them more than once but there are some I still have not watched. Maybe when winter comes around again I will have more time for them. I know someone who collects box sets and special editions and now has hundreds of DVDs. I really don't think he will live long enough to be able to watch them all.

I started collecting movies on DVD when I bought my first DVD player back in '97 or '98. I started listing them in a database a few years ago but the last time I updated it was maybe a couple years ago. At that time I had around 720. I probably have way over 800 now.
