Zelo comes from Zelos in Greek mythology (of eager rivalry, emulation, envy, jealousy and zeal). His brothers were Nike (Victory), Bia (Force), and Kratos (Strength). the winged enforcers of Zeus who stood in attendance of his throne.
"Zelos may have been identified with Agon, spirit of contest, worshipped at Olympia. He was also sometimes equated with Phthonos the spirit of romantic jealousy, and was closely connected with the good Eris, strife as the driving force of competition"

I always knew it to be the Italian equivilent of Zealous (full of persistent fervent devotion to a cause). I was always told when I was a child that I was very persistant about everything I did and so I 'made up' this nickname for myself and it has stuck ever since
Thanks
Zelo

Well mine is quite simple. It's a username I use for a lot of things as it's easy for me to remember. Polly is my name, 42 is one of my favourite numbers and the 3 came from when I tried to use polly42 on a website and it was already taken, so I had to stick a 3 on the end.
