Serenity the movie

Serenity is one of my favorite movies, but it stems from having seen the Firefly series first. If you are into Firefly you know that it only lasted half a season before it got canceled, but those episodes really give you background you need for the movie. I remember not long after Serenity came out there was talk that there might be two other movies as well. I haven't heard anything else since then. I just recently got Serenity on DVD and if there is going to be another movie I'd definitely like to go see it. Any other Firefly / Serenity fans out there?
