I just started journaling again, sort of. In my book I'm writing quotes, funny things my kids say, ideas of various things I want to remember so I can do them in the future. What do you write in your journaling book? Do you journal online? Tell us about that.

Hello simplyshawn! I see, your fairly new here (not that I have been here that long). I also started journaling again. I was going through a sad point in my life and I decided to write a letter to God and when I opened it, I realized that I hadn't written a journal entry since the year 2003 if I'm not mistaken. Needless to say I was shocked as to how long it had been. Well in my journal I write letters to God about how my day was, what my fears are and my wishes, and at the end I give him honor and praise. Unfortunately, I haven't written in my journal for a couple of months now but thanks to you, I will this evening (I just hope I remember). Take care and God Bless!

Wow, great story. I actually used to do the same thing. I have to write to someone in a journal and God knows everything anyway so it was good while I did it. I enjoy writing too. Now I just don't make time to do it, I'd rather be on here or reading a book after the kids go to bed.

I used to like to write things online and in a actual journal. But I have stopped. I dont know why, but I just dont want to anymore. I think today, I would rather just tell someone my problems, like a friend or family memeber, rather than write something down and not have my questions answered. I dont think I would even have the time to write in my journal. I would write for such long periods of times that I wouldnt have time for anything else. But I think I might start blogging soon.

Good, I hope you do start blogging soon. That's something I just haven't gotten into, mostly because of the time factor thing. I hope you get back into it.

Oh boy, I know how you feel!!! I really shouldn't get on the computer at all because it's such a time waster for me. Maybe later in life you'll have time to enjoy it.
