I went on one blind date when I was about 18 or 19. My mom worked with a guy she thought was a nice guy so she fixed me up. We went on a riverboat cruise and listened to the music. It was a total disaster. He didn't want to date an innocent girl, he wanted someone more advanced and ready for his roaming hands. I wasn't that girl.
I started dating my husband at age 15. We broke up for a short time so my mother decided I needed to date a co-worker of hers. I went back with my husband and we've been together ever since which is 39 years later.

I am happily married but even before I wasdidn't go on blind dates as I wouldn't have liked not knowing who the person was and thats a shame that the last one had all the qualities you idn't want! x

I've never been on a blind date before, the idea of it is kind of scary as well as intruiging.

I have had so many blind dates that I've lost count. I have a boyfriend now so I don't date anymore, but I know what you mean most of them are HORRIBLE. I found that the source in which you meet the person helps tremendously. Internet dating, you would think would be the best because at least they may have a pic. But no. People use outdated pics and lie about thier interests and lifestyles. My best experience with blind dating was when a mutual friend arranged it because they would give me an honest opinion of how that person really is and looks like. Sadly none of them transpired into a relationship. Lol. Have fun though.
