Is it true that the quality of the pictures and videos you import in windows movie maker will decrease?
I tried it but it is hard to know the difference. maybe if I choose full screen then the qualities will decrease.
Is there any other better programs than windows movie maker, and if there is, I want to download a free one.

Yes it does, WMM is design specifically as a simple, quick and small video output solution to video editing, very much like MS Paint as a graphic editor. For a small screen sizes let say VCD, cellphone or youtube quality it will adequately do the job. But once you enlarge it, you will see pixelations and in very limited colors.

The simplest that I have used was Sony Vegas. There are Ulead VideoStudio, CyberLink PowerDirector but the best is Adobe Premiere. You could download free trials first to find out which one suites you. I would just like to point out one thing, the output quality depend entirely on your video source. These great tools cannot do wonders from a low quality source, if these is the case then maybe WMM would simply do the job.
