Do you have custom firmware or official sony firmware? Either way what version?

i have custom firmware 4.01m33-2.

The current firmware in my PSP is 3.71 M33-4, a custom firmware. I would really like to upgrade it to 3.90 custom firmware as stability seems to be guaranteed on that firmware. Even tried to upgrade it myself but, I could only change the PSP battery into a service battery yet, could not work on downgrading my PSP since the menu to downgrade it doesn't appear when I do try it..

I have a psp slim running Dark Alex's M33 4.01 v1. It's pretty awesome. I am able to run PS1 games and am currently playing through ff7 and Harvest Moon: Back to nature. Also have a few hombrew games. Dan

i use dark alex's custom firmwares as it releases the PSP's true pitnial, i have psp firmware 3.90*** as its the most stable and most games run on it smoothly and without any head aches!
