We all know that there are a lot of people that don't get to ever see the ocean, or it's a very rare experience. When was the last time you went to the beach and got to see the ocean? Where did you see it? The last time I saw it was in Atlantic City, New Jersey USA of this year in June.

It was around 3 weeks ago here in Manila where we visited on of the biggest malls her. SM Mall of Asia and it sits right beside Manila Bay which stretches towards the South China Sea. We were just sight seeing that time and the sunset was spectacular. I can't remember the last time we went to an ocean for it's purpose of a beach. It was years ago I think. I'd take the chance if there will be one. Take care!

Oh very nice! My sister-in-law was born in Manila, she has many stories about going to the beach there, and then getting chased by her parents with bamboo because she would sneak out of the house to go to the beach, and they would be scared for her safety :P.

Wow! It's a small world. Oh yeah, some parents really do that. Chase their children with sticks. Bamboo sticks hurts a lot. Ouch... In any case, I love to go to beaches and sea side trips. I probably even could stay there for a week even without my internet. See 'ya!

I live in Pensacola FL., so I can see it any time I want just by taking a short drive...It is nice. I do, however, wish I could see the mountains more often. We dont have any mountains here in Florida though

Oh cool, I have stayed at Pensacola a few times before, the beaches are really beautiful! I live in the mountains in Pennsylvania, and sometimes you want to get away from them , but I understand, you always want what you can't have!

Ireland is so Small,it's said there's nowhere on the island more than 80 miles from the sea! For Me,the Atlantic is about 3/4 of an hour away by car,and I was last on the beach in Donegal a few weeks ago..I posted a discussion on webcams recently with a webcam link looking onto the Beach in one resort nearby..

I just can't imagine living in a location that is very far from the ocean. I live in a small country that is also an island so it has lots of coastline around it. However I realize that people that live somewhere like in the middle of a large country like Australia or the USA the ocean is a long way from their home. I live on the edge of a coastal town, overlooking gorgeous looking countryside. I sometimes dream about having a home with a view of the sea but is would be way too expensive. I took my two dogs to the beach on Tuesday and they enjoyed racing up and down the sand dunes. When I go to that wild looking beach I enjoy seeing the view of the two islands, the headland, the old pier and the ocean. Hardly any people were there because the weather was dull and it was cold as well as windy. Since then I have seen the ocean whilst passing the sea front on a bus. I love tropical beaches most of all and have been lucky enough to go to French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Samoa and Fiji. I did some island hopping in the Seychelles and in the Maldives.
