Which one do you like better? Tom or Jerry?

Wow that is a tough one 'cause Tom never stops trying to eat Jerry no matter what kind of obsticle or pain he goes through so I like the fact he gets his mind around something and he sticks to it. Jerry on the other hand is intelligent enough to stay one step ahead of Tom... can I call it a tie? I will say that Tom & Jerry is one of my all-time favorite shows and even when I was in a foreign country like Morocco, they still played it there. There is no dialogue (talking), or very little so it is great to be seen anywhere and everyone gets the jokes! Thanks Zelo

I agree Tom and Jerry is a very awesome,very popular cartoon show,that features a lot of humor,and I think it would be cool if me and my fiance could get it on DVD so that way we can watch it with out children one day when we have them,and I think both Tom and Jerry are cool,I like how Jerry always manages to outsmart Tom,even though I myself am also afraid of mice,and I love cats,and all though Tom is kind of evil,I guess I would still pick him as my favorite.

I think i go with jerry , Because he is lot more witty and i feel sad for tom many times , but i still like jerry ..lol

I love the mischiefs of Jerry..and its treat to watch Tom and Jerry show.

i dont hate Tom.. he's a cat.. and he is 'supposed to' be rivals with mouse a.k.a Jerry.. but i do enjoy Jerry.. watch how he 'plans' his escape everytime...

ahahahhah I love Tom & Jerry and i cannot choose between the first and the second! are they lovable the same!

I like Tom better too. I think its because he's kind of the underdog (never wins), lol. Plus Jerry is a bit of a smart alec at times.

Hi there youless, your boy is growing fast, while you are also growing fast here...almost hitting 10K postings soon while I am only gunning for 2K posts. When I was a kid in school, Tom and Jerry was one of my favorite cartoons, together with the Looney Tunes. For me, I like both rather than have preference for one over the other. They are an inseparable pair, like Sylvester and Tweety, and if we just take away one of the them, the other wouldn't exist and all the fun will be over. If I really have to make a choice, I will of course be more on the side of the one who is usually victimized, so I guess you know who I pick.

That is one cartoon that I have always liked the cat and mouse. They are great, but I have always thought that jerry was the best character of the too. Eventhough Tom was always chasing him. He still tried to be his friend. Even when they would beat each other up. But there was one time when Jerry had the advantage. When he kept turning into the muscle mouse and Tom could not fight him off. He kept running from him. That was a real good one.

in reality, I love cats more than rats / mice. however, in this cartoon, I love the little mouse (Jerry's nephew) named Nibbles very much. well, of course in reality, I don't want to have any little mouse (even a very cute one) mess up with my things in the house, however, I still laugh when I watch the cartoon, especially the episode where Nibbles messed around and Jerry had to save him from Tom. LOL.

I have to go with Jerry, i hate rats but he is a cute rat. Of course i also love Tom because he is persistent and God bless him he just never learns! I almost always root for the underdog but with these two I'm never sure which one is the underdog. LOL

Hi there youless I'd have to say Jerry, after all he is the one that is constantly trying to escape the grasp of Tom and is only trying to defend himself! I love the cartoon and like it best when they are friends at the end especially when they team up against the dog, who's name I can't think of right now haven't seen it in a long time. Take care

I love Jerry alot..I like his action and his way of thinking...His attacks on tom are really funny and at the same time intelligent too...Most of the times Jerry wins the fight...I like winning...The show tells me that even if we are small,if we use our brain we can face any situation or we achieve what we want...Just be brave and tough...Have fun...

i like the both of them . the way the fight is really hilarious, still having a choice i will like jerry. jerry is very intellougent

I love Jerry more. True he is a mouse but he is cute and smart. He always out smarts poor Tom.But in my favorite Tom and Jerry cartoons, they team up. One is Johann Mouse and the other was Neopolitan Mouse.

Hello, youless! I enjoy watching Tom and Jerry, but it has been so long since I last saw them. I like Tom more than Jerry. Jerry's usually trying to escape, but that's all he does: running and trying to get his revenge. That's why I like Tom, he has something like a stronger personality (even though he is only a cartoon, lol). It is a funny cartoon to watch, but I don't like the idea of Tom failing on every episode, hahaha. Jerry always wins, why is it like that? Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Hi youless! I like Tom and Jerry too and my husband and I usually watch in cable. They are really funny but I can not choose between them which one I like better. Can I just choose them both? haha.. Take care and God Bless!

My son loves this show. It is weird, we watched it all the time growing up and I never really thought about all of the cat and mouse chasing antics...but now when i watch it with him i feel horrified by all of the things that they do on there! Blowing each other up, shooting each other, it's just so violent!! I reason with myself that he can watch it, since I watched it and have had no ill effects or violent behavior...yet it still seems unsettling to me. I think that both Tom and Jerry have their good and bad sides...I have seen them work together before (such as when they were playing the piano and dancing in one episode) But for the most part, I don't think I have a favorite. Neither would be what they are without the other. It is a strange relationship they have.
