I hate watching movies with a bunch of cursing.

I had recorded Superbad on my DVR to watch. So me and my husband sat down to watch it thinking it was just a regular comedy. Well the first 5 minutes was cussing every other word, talking about porno's, showing naked pictures, talking perverted. We just turned it off. I don't understand how cussing every other word makes a good movie. I can't even focus because all I hear are the words. Maybe it stems from the fact I don't cuss. I was never raised talking that kind of language. I deleted that movie. To me it was just horrible to watch. I'd rather watch a family movie anyday.

I never want to hear cursing or any bad words coming from anyone in my day to day interaction so I certainly will not like watching a movie with a lot of cursing. It would be a waste of time. If ever I watch a movie, I make sure it will be of good moral value. So I understand your sentiment as I also feel the way with you.

Yeah, movies like annoy me because of it's lack of entertainment. It seems like crude humor is the 'thing' now and it's annoyingly overused. I remember back in the 90s there weren't a whole lot movies that had humor like that. I guess laughing and poking fun at life in general is played out.
